Director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine
Dr. Mari-Paule Thiet, a perinatologist, is director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at UCSF Medical Center, where she specializes in the medical and surgical complications of pregnancy. She cares for patients at UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco and at ValleyCare Medical Center in Pleasanton.
Thiet graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 1985 and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Parkland Memorial Hospital in 1989. She completed a fellowship in maternal and fetal medicine at the George Washington University Hospital in 1991. She is an associate clinical professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the UCSF School of Medicine.
