Mira Kleytman

Respiratory therapist

Mira Kleytman is a registerd respiratory therapist at the UCSF ALS Center. She performs pulmonary function tests to assess respiratory function and helps educate patients and family members on the use of breathing devices and techniques, including deep-breathing exercise. Kleytman coordinates with home care equipment companies for the set up and delivery of breathing equipment in the homes of patients, and refers patients to pulmonary specialists when needed.

Kleytman is a graduate of the Associated Respiratory Therapy School at Skyline College in San Bruno and a member of the American Association of Respiratory Therapy.
