Surgeon Heads to Olympics with Taekwondo Team
Dr. Christina Allen, a UCSF orthopedic surgeon, is the team physician for the U.S. Olympics Taekwondo Team and will accompany the team to the 2012 London Olympics this summer. Allen is also the orthopedic doctor for Cal athletics at the University of California at Berkeley and the U.S. national soccer team.
UCSF Doctors Awarded Fellowships to Improve Health Quality
Dr. Kevin Bozic is one of three UCSF physicians awarded fellowships from the University of California's Center for Health Quality and Innovation for projects to improve the quality and value of health care. Bozic, an orthopedic surgeon, was one of 13 recipients of the awards from six UC campuses.
