Dr. Nicholas F. Fleming is an internist who provides primary care in the Executive Health Service at UCSF Medical Center. Prior to joining UCSF, he was in private practice started by his father in South Carolina. During that time, Fleming held many hospital medical staff leadership positions and was involved in various community service activities. He was chosen for the inaugural class of the Liberty Fellowship, a leadership development program for young leaders in South Carolina.
Fleming earned an undergraduate degree at Duke University. He then completed a joint medical degree and master's degree in public policy at Harvard Medical School. Subsequently, Fleming completed an internship and residency training in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
