Nicola Stewart is a genetic counselor at the UCSF Cancer Genetics and Prevention Program at Mission Bay, where she works with families who have or might be at risk for hereditary cancer. She has a special interest in families with a history of breast cancer or ovarian cancer. She also has a special interest in hereditary endocrine cancer syndromes.
In addition to counseling patients, Stewart teaches cancer genetics to genetic counseling students at California State University, Stanislaus. She earned her master's degree in genetic counseling from the University of California, Berkeley.
