    Doctore Nicole Appellle was very kind and compassionate! Seeing my pain while walking from the waiting area to her office, she offered me her arm to lean on and asked me if I needed a wheelchair on the way out. Very thoughtful!

    My care provider gave me information about treatment options after lab results came in ( the same day as my visit), through a MyChart message. She was very responsive and informative about the results and what they meant, and gave me treatment options.

    I am a senior citizen who has had approximately 25 PCP's, including 6 at UCSF. All the UCSF PCP's were outstanding, but Dr. Appelle stands out as the best of the best. She is simply outstanding in every category.

    I think Dr. Appelle is a good physician and that's important to me. I find her to be a very matter-of-fact individual and that's OK. Sometimes she is more "warm and fuzzy" but other times she is noticeably less so.
