    My care provider gave me information about treatment options after lab results came in ( the same day as my visit), through a MyChart message. She was very responsive and informative about the results and what they meant, and gave me treatment options.

    I appreciated the doctor looked at the whole problem and did not limit her are to the immediate situation that brought me there. She also accelerated my follow up with x-ray and lab tests.

    I am a senior citizen who has had approximately 25 PCP's, including 6 at UCSF. All the UCSF PCP's were outstanding, but Dr. Appelle stands out as the best of the best. She is simply outstanding in every category.

    I think Dr. Appelle is a good physician and that's important to me. I find her to be a very matter-of-fact individual and that's OK. Sometimes she is more "warm and fuzzy" but other times she is noticeably less so.

    Dr. Appelle is amazing. She works tirelessly to listen carefully to everything I have to say, to offer a variety of treatment options, and solicit my opinion too. I can always rely on her when I'm feeling worried and stressed about medical issues. She always makes me feel better.

    I didn't meet with care provider as they were late and I couldn't wait any longer. I did get blood labs done, but explanation of labs was poor

    Dr. Appelle took the time to look at my medications. She noticed one was at a rather high dose and discussed how to taper it down. She also made changes as to what time I should take the medication. I appreciate her concern .

    I really liked this doctor. It's obvious she's smart but more importantly listened to my concerns and didn't try to pin it all on depression or my weight. I thought she did a great job.
