

Radiologist
Dr. Peter Callen specializes in diagnostic ultrasound. His interest is in fetal abnormality detection, and he works closely with the Fetal Treatment Center at the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. He is the author and editor of the most widely used textbook in diagnostic obstetric sonography "Ultrasonography in Obstetrics and Gynecology," now in its fourth edition.
Callen completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois. He went on to earn his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco, where he also completed his residency in radiology and is a professor of radiology, obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive sciences. He is board certified in diagnostic radiology.
