Dr. Julie Brichard is a family medicine doctor who provides comprehensive primary care. She has particular interests in newborn and pediatrics care and women's health, including prenatal care and integrative medicine.

Brichard earned her medical degree at the Université de Lorraine School of Medicine in France, where she completed a residency in family medicine. After moving to California, she completed a residency in family medicine at Stanford Health Care – O'Connor Hospital.

Brichard has worked for Doctors Without Borders on malnutrition programs in several African countries. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and American Medical Association.

Several years ago, Brichard began practicing yoga and later exploring the practice of meditation. She is mother to two young energetic boys, with whom she loves having improvised dance parties at home.

    I was given inaccurate locations for walk in X-ray appts. I was able to go to another location nearby but it was a timely delay between finding location parking and having to go to another clinic

    Dr. Brichard is the best pediatric family doctor we could have for our child's care. She is very sharp and knowledgeable and also very attentive. She always makes us feel like she truly cares about our little one. Would recommend to all parents!!

    The very poor is not a reflection of her but rather of her lateness and the office's poor communication regarding her being late. Please note that this same office (Lakeshore) turned me away after being 5 minutes late and I had to go to Urgent Care. It does not seem fair that as a patient I am expected to wait if the doctor is late but if I am late there is no flexibility.

    Dr. Brichard was great to talk with. She had gone over my chart prior to seeing me. She gives both informed and nuanced answers which I appreciate. She also listened to me as a unique individual. This is the perfect blend of response for me and what I am looking for in a primary doctor. Thank you so much!

    She's methodical about ordering tests and shots. I haven't found her easy to talk to and I didn't feel I had her buy in in caring about me as I go to "specialists.

    This provider is professional and kind. But I do think she is incredibly rushed. She does the best with the time she has but the system needs to give her more time to be with patients. Even though we got to all my issues she began the appointment saying that she could not address everything (4) on my list due to time constraints.

    I strongly feel that my child's doctor has very little time to spend at the visit and she rushes. She feels like I ask too many questions and get overwhelmed easily however; she likely does not consider my postpartum my history of miscarriages and my difficulty conceiving. She has expressed that my anxiety drives the amount of questions I have. Who am I expected to ask my questions if not my child doctor?! Do I go to the pediatrician for child questions or should I be asking google? She has mentioned I should get a book yes great but new mothers don't always have time for books we consults with doctors.
