Obstetrician and gynecologist
Dr. Robyn Lamar is an obstetrician and gynecologist with the UCSF Women's Health Center at Mount Zion and the UCSF Women's Health offices in Daly City. She provides care to both pregnant women and women with a broad range of gynecologic issues. She has a particular interest in a holistic approach to treatment.
Lamar's research focus is on furthering an evidence-based approach to the practice of obstetrics and gynecology. She is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She has served as a medical volunteer in Guatemala and participated in a medical exchange on a labor and delivery unit in Bergen, Norway.
Lamar obtained her medical degree from the UCSF School of Medicine, and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco. She also has a master's degree in public health, with a concentration in epidemiology, from University of California, Berkeley.
