
Lung cancer specialist
Dr. Sunny Wang specializes in the treatment of lung cancer at the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center at Mount Zion. In addition to treating patients, she conducts research on new lung cancer treatments and outcomes for patients who have health conditions in addition to cancer.
Wang earned a bachelor's degree at Harvard University and a medical degree at the University of Pennsylvancia School of Medicine. At UCSF, she completed an internal medicine residency and served as chief resident, and completed a hematology and oncology fellowship. Wang, an assistant clinical professor of medicine at UCSF, is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
