Tamara Brown Neuhaus, M.D.

Obstetrician and gynecologist

Dr. Tamara Brown Neuhaus is an obstetrician and gynecologist at UCSF Obstetrics and Gynecology Services at Mission Bay. She cares for women with both normal and complicated pregnancies as well as patients with gynecologic problems such as abnormal menstruation, sexually transmitted diseases and endometriosis. She has a special interest in preventive women's health, adolescent gynecology and the management of contraception and menopause. Neuhaus also specializes in operative laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and minimally invasive hysterectomy.

Neuhaus earned her medical degree at the University of California at San Diego, School of Medicine. Subsequently, she completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Santa Clara, Calif., where she served as one of the chief residents. Neuhaus is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
