Family medicine specialist
Dr. Teresa Palmer is a family medicine specialist at the UCSF Women's Health Center. She has a special interest in geriatrics and also in assisting to create a "medical home" for the practice's patients.
Palmer earned a medical degree at the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1980 and became board certified in family medicine in 1985, after completing training at UC Davis and Southside Hospital in Long Island, N.Y. She obtained a "certificate of added qualification" in geriatrics in 1994.
