UCSF and Hill Physicians

If you're a member of a health maintenance organization (HMO) and get your health care in San Francisco, choose a primary care doctor who's a member of Hill Physicians Medical Group to ensure access to all specialists at UCSF Medical Center.

UCSF is no longer "in network" for Brown & Toland Medical Group patients. Referrals to most UCSF specialists from Brown & Toland primary care doctors require prior authorization. Exceptions are pediatric specialty and obstetrical care. Those patients may see a UCSF specialist without prior authorization.

Hill Physicians Directory

Hill Physicians-San Francisco includes all UCSF Medical Group doctors as well as doctors affiliated with St. Francis and St. Mary's hospitals. Check if your primary care doctor is a member of Hill Physicians.
