Whittemore G. Tingley, Ph.D., M.D.

Cardiologist

Dr. Whittemore Tingley is a cardiologist who practices general clinical cardiology. His research focuses on the role of genes and gene mutations in heart disease. Tingley earned his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University, School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in internal medicine and earned a doctorate in neuroscience. Tingley came to the University of California, San Francisco in 1999 as a cardiology fellow and joined the faculty in 2002.
