
Ophthalmologist
Dr. Ying Han is an ophthalmologist who specializes in glaucoma, including medical, laser and surgical therapies; and cataract evaluation and treatment. In her research, she evaluates new drug delivery of medications and new surgical procedures for glaucoma. She's also interested in screening and treatment of glaucoma to prevent vision loss.
Han earned a medical degree at Nanjing Medical University and a Ph.D. in vision science at the University of California, Berkeley. She completed a residency in ophthalmology and a fellowship in glaucoma at University of California, San Francisco. Han is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, American Glaucoma Society, Women in Ophthalmology and Prevent Blindness Northern California.
