Dr. Zahid Ahmed is a general dentist whose expertise includes restorative dentistry, such as dental implants for healthy and medically compromised patients. He focuses on promoting oral hygiene and places high priority on patient comfort and pain management. He also provides dental care for patients under general anesthesia or conscious sedation when necessary.
Ahmed, a native of Southern California, earned a doctor of dental surgery degree at the University of Michigan and completed a hospital dentistry residency at UCSF. He is an assistant clinical professor in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UCSF.
