Appointment changes due to the Omicron variant
If you have an upcoming appointment that will be affected, your care team will contact you directly.
To protect our patients during the surge in COVID-19 infections caused by the Omicron variant, we're making changes to some upcoming appointments at UCSF Health.
Our doctors will be reviewing the need for in-person care and making adjustments to certain appointments. Some appointments will be changed to video visits, some will be rescheduled, and some will remain as scheduled. Patients will hear from their care team if a change is being made to a scheduled appointment.
We appreciate your support of our efforts to maintain a safe environment for all patients. As always, we are committed to providing the best possible care.

- Allergy shots
- Cancer screenings
- Care for chronic conditions
- Eye exams
- Mental health services
- Physical therapy
- Radiology exams (such as bone density scans)
- Well-woman exams
Types of visits
If you need to see a provider in person, rest assured that we have precautions in place to protect your health during your visit.
