Anna Jones, MSN, FNP

Nurse practitioner

Anna Jones is a nurse practitioner who helps patients with blood cancers manage the side effects of chemotherapy. She also performs bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures, in which fluid is taken from the spine to aid in diagnosis. In addition, she educates patients and their caregivers on proper home care after leaving the hospital.

Jones earned her master's degree from Samuel Merritt University, where she trained as a family nurse practitioner. She is also a certified public health nurse. She is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society.

A native of Japan, Jones enjoys teaching her nephews Japanese in her free time. She also enjoys cooking, salsa dancing and hiking with her husband and dog.
