Ashley Maliken, PhD


Ashley Maliken is a psychologist with the UCSF Young Adult and Family Center. She provides individual and group therapy, using both dialectical behavior therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy treatment approaches. She is trained in a variety of evidence-based treatments, with an emphasis on treating anxiety, depression and eating disorders in adolescents and young adults.

Maliken received her Ph.D. from the University of Washington, followed by a Leadership and Education in Adolescent Health fellowship, which is a program sponsored by the Maternal Child Health Bureau to train interdisciplinary leaders in adolescent health. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine.
