Carol Schulte is a social worker who serves as clinical administrator for the UCSF Fontana Tobacco Treatment Center (FTTC). In addition to her administrative and training duties, she provides individual counseling for UCSF patients trying to quit smoking and teaches four-week FTTC Stop Smoking classes. She also facilitates weekly smoking cessation support groups.

Schulte earned her master's degree in social work from Saint Louis University. Her extensive experience in medical social work includes providing direct services on multidisciplinary teams in home care settings as well as at San Francisco General Hospital. Prior to joining the FTTC team, she coordinated a variety of programs for mothers, children and adolescents for the San Francisco Department of Public Health.
