Christine Garcia, PsyD

Clinical Director of the Young Adult and Family Center

Christine Garcia is the clinical director of the Young Adult and Family Center (YAFC). She oversees all the YAFC clinical programs, consults on telehealth initiatives and leads the Next Mission online course program for active duty military members and returning veterans.

Garcia previously worked as a senior clinical psychologist at Princeton University's Student Health Services and has a breadth of clinical experience. She specializes in treating adolescents and young adults. Her areas of interest include trauma, eating disorders, chronic mental illness and meeting the needs of underserved communities. In addition to her work at the YAFC, she serves as an expert on trauma for the National Center for Campus Public Safety, and is involved in training university administrators, faculty, staff and students across the country.
