Curt Ries, MD

Hematologist

Dr. Curt Ries has been a hematologist on the UCSF faculty since 1972 and directed the Hematology-Oncology faculty practice until 2001. He continues to see patients with blood disorders on a part-time basis in the Hematology and BMT clinics. Ries earned his medical degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine in Rochester, N.Y., and completed his internal medicine residency and hematology fellowship at UCSF.
