Danielle Krieger, NP

Kidney transplant nurse

Danielle Krieger is a nurse practitioner at UCSF's Connie Frank Transplant Center who cares for post-kidney transplant patients, treating heir transplant-related medical conditions and helping them with immunosuppression management and psychological issues from the day of transplant through the life of the graft or individual. Krieger believes that education and support are of utmost importance in sustaining graft function and patient health. She is the adult nurse practitioner for UCSF Medical Center's pediatric-to-adult transition program.

Krieger earned a master's degree in science as an adult nurse practitioner at the Columbia University School of Nursing. She is a member of the American Society of Transplantation, the California Association For Nurse Practitioners, the International Transplant Nurses Society, Women in Transplantation and the UCSF AHP Advisory Board.
