Nurse practitioner and nurse midwife
Florence Zink is a certified nurse midwife and nurse practitioner with UCSF Obstetrics & Gynecology Services at Mission Bay. She provides the full scope of well woman care to patients of all ages, including gynecological services, but her specialty is pregnancy and postpartum care. She has extensive experience with high-risk pregnancy as well as diabetes and other endocrine disorders during pregnancy.
Zink considers direct patient contact the highlight of her work. She strives to provide the most up to date, comprehensive care possible, while remaining compassionate and sensitive to her patients and their families.
Zink received a dual master's degree in women's health and nurse midwifery from UCSF. She has a bachelor's degree in nursing from Elmira College in New York, as well as a biology degree from University of California, Santa Cruz. She is a member of the Academy of Certified Nurse Midwives.
