James Jin Park, MD

Family practice physician

Dr. James Jin Park is a family medicine physician. He provides comprehensive care to patients of all ages, specializing in geriatrics, preventive medicine, chronic disease management, family planning services, and minor outpatient procedures. He is passionate about collaborative health and particularly interested in elder care focusing on maximizing independence.

Park received his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He completed a residency in family medicine at the National Capitol Consortium, followed by a geriatrics fellowship at the Madigan Army Medical Center. He has served in the military and participated in two combat tours in Iraq before joining UCSF. He is currently an assistant clinical professor in family and community medicine at UCSF.
