James Riddel, RN, MS

Nurse manager

James Riddel is the nurse manager for the Hemophilia Treatment Center at UCSF. He works directly with patients and also with providers and staff to coordinate both inpatient and outpatient care for all patients. Riddel also manages the center's clinical, operational, grant and research activities.

Riddel has been working with patients with hemophilia for more than twenty years, and he spent over a decade working in the hematology department at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland.

Riddel earned his undergraduate degree in psychology at University of Maryland, College Park. He then obtained a Master of Arts in education and human development from George Washington University, followed by a Master of Science in nursing from UCSF.
