Dr. Jessica Litwin practices general child neurology and sleep medicine. She treats epilepsy, migraines, headaches, developmental delay, tics, movement disorders and other neurological disorders in children. She is particularly interested in sleep disorders such as insomnia, hypersomnia, parasomnia, sleep disordered breathing, narcolepsy and restless legs syndrome. Litwin is board certified in neurology with special qualification in child neurology as well as in sleep medicine.
Litwin is an assistant clinical professor of child neurology at the UCSF School of Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the Child Neurology Society and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
Litwin received her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed her internship in pediatrics at the University of Miami, followed by a residency in pediatrics at Long Island Jewish/North Shore Hospital System and a residency in neurology at Seattle Children's Hospital. She completed a sleep medicine fellowship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Before joining UCSF, Litwin practiced child neurology and sleep medicine at Rocky Mountain Pediatric Neurology and Sleep Medicine in Denver, Colo., where she also served as director of the pediatric sleep program.
