Lauren Brown Brenner, LCSW

Lauren Brown Brenner is a social worker who cares for patients with breast cancer and those at particular risk for developing the condition. As part of a multidisciplinary team, she strives to educate and empower her patients, while working to achieve individual patients' goals as well as those of the medical team. Every day, her patients' experiences and resilience inspire her.

Brenner earned her master's degree in social welfare at the University of California, Los Angeles Luskin School of Public Affairs. She completed an internship at the Simms/Mann–UCLA Center for Integrative Oncology. Brenner joined the UCSF Carol Franc Buck Breast Care Center in 2012. She completed a continuing education course in palliative care through the UCSF School of Nursing.
