Leah Mcnally, MD

Gynecologic cancer surgeon

Dr. Leah McNally is a gynecologic cancer surgeon who treats women with gynecologic malignancies, including ovarian, uterine, cervical and vulvar cancers. She has expertise in a wide variety of surgical techniques, including robotic and laparoscopic approaches.

McNally's research interests include pregnancies complicated by invasive placentas. She is also interested in quality improvement, including screening patients to see whether they would benefit from referral to a prehabilitation program or are likely to need home services or physical rehabilitation after surgery.

McNally received her medical degree from the Yale School of Medicine. She then completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Stanford Health Care, followed by a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at a joint program of UCSF and Stanford Health Care. She also has a master's degree in health science from the Yale School of Medicine.
