    About our process

I feel I am receiving the very best care I have ever had - I know I am in good hands.
    Oct 27, 2023
I would hope no one else got what I have but if they did I would definitely recommend UCSF and this provider if that is the field of their problem. There are not clear answers and I appreciate how truthful I feel my provider is she provides me great confidence she is thinking for my best possible outcome.

    Jan 22, 2023
Questioned my other health issues in great detail almost calling into question my autoimmune issues. Was borderline condescending about them and my opinion about MY health. Was questioning me In great detail about my over tens years in the BRCA prevention program. Questioning why I wasn't involved in the surveillance teamone I had never been told about that only started about 4 years ago. Left feeling like I wasn't welcome instead of feeling like she was a doctor that was there to care for me

Dr. Chen was very professional and informative concerning my rare diagnosis. She reviewed my chart and clearly and precisely explained my condition and treatment options.
    Nov 29, 2022
The issue was that we thought we were discussing treatment options but Dr. Chen was focused on post operative issues. We were not in the same page. It was a hard conversation and my questions were not addressed. I think we all came into the discussion with different agendas and that lead to probably all of us getting frustrated.
