Lizbeth Gibson, MSN, NP

Nurse practitioner

Lizbeth Gibson is a neurosurgical nurse practitioner who treats patients undergoing surgery for peripheral nerve pain. She also cares for patients who use neuromodulation devices, such as spinal cord stimulators and intrathecal pumps, to treat neuropathic pain.

In addition to her clinical work, Gibson assists with research on treatments for various chronic pain syndromes.

Gibson received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Capital University, followed by a master's degree in nursing from UCSF. Previously, Gibson worked in UCSF's intensive care unit as a registered nurse, as well as the California Center for Pituitary Disorders and inpatient liver transplant service as a nurse practitioner at UCSF.

Gibson is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. In her free time, she enjoys running and traveling.
