Physical therapist

Lowen Cattolico offers a range of orthopedic physical therapy from prevention and coordinated primary care for musculoskeletal complaints to post-injury and post-operative rehabilitation. She sees patients at UCSF's Sports Medicine Center for Young Athletes. As manager of outpatient adult PT and rehab services at Mission Bay, she also helps coordinate clinical research, education and programs with other UCSF departments and community organizations.

Cattolico earned her bachelor's degree from Princeton University and her master's of science in physical therapy in a joint program with UCSF and San Francisco State University. She is also a member of the volunteer clinic faculty for the Department of PT and Rehabilitation Science at UCSF/SFSU. Cattolico is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association’s orthopedic section.
