Maki Aoki, MD


Dr. Maki Aoki is an internist who provides longitudinal primary care and as-needed urgent care in the outpatient setting. She treats patients with chronic conditions and has special interest in diabetes, liver disease, chronic infectious diseases and mental health diseases.

Aoki earned her doctor of medicine degree from Oregon Health and Science University and her naturopathic doctoral degree from the National University of Natural Medicine. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center through Harvard Medical School.

Aoki is a member of the Society of General Internal Medicine and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She is an assistant professor of medicine at UCSF.
