Marla Ferschl, MD

Pediatric anesthesiologist

Dr. Marla B. Ferschl is a pediatric anesthesiologist who treats children requiring sedation or anesthesia for procedures, radiologic studies or surgery. She has a special research interest in preoperative evaluations and quality assurance.

Ferschl earned a medical degree at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. She completed a residency in anesthesiology at UCSF and a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at Children's Hospital Boston. She is an associate clinical professor of anesthesia at the UCSF School of Medicine. Ferschl, who speaks Spanish, is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, International Anesthesia Research Society, California Society of Anesthesiologists and Society for Pediatric Anesthesia.
