Tameez Sunderji desperately needed a transplant to replace his failing kidney. Luckily, his sister Sherzana was a willing donor – and was on her way to UCSF to complete a fellowship in pediatric cardiology. Weeks before starting her fellowship, she donated her kidney to help restore her brother's health.
