Phuong Phi Nguyen is a physician assistant who provides outpatient care after liver transplant surgery.

Nguyen earned a bachelor's degree in human biology from the University of California, San Diego, followed by a master's degree in physician assistant studies from Weill Cornell Medical College. Before joining UCSF, Nguyen worked as an inpatient physician assistant, managing perioperative abdominal organ transplant recipients at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University and Mount Sinai hospitals in New York City.

Nguyen is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the California Academy of Physician Assistants.
