About me

Anna O. Levin is a psychologist who cares for patients affected by cancer. She uses cognitive behavioral and biobehavioral (mind-body) techniques in her practice. She seeks to support patients, their caregivers and their families as they navigate cancer diagnosis, treatment and survivorship. Her expertise encompasses such challenges as making treatment decisions and communicating with medical providers, managing symptoms and side effects, and finding ways to enhance quality of life or meaning in life in the context of a cancer diagnosis.

Levin's research interests include developing, evaluating and disseminating psycho-oncology interventions. She focuses particularly on strategies for enhancing relationship and sexual functioning.

Levin earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from the Ohio State University. She completed internship and fellowship programs approved by the American Psychological Association in the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System's behavioral medicine service.
