About me

Carol Schulte is a social worker who serves as clinical administrator for the UCSF Fontana Tobacco Treatment Center (FTTC). In addition to her administrative and training duties, she provides individual counseling for UCSF patients trying to quit smoking and teaches four-week FTTC Stop Smoking classes. She also facilitates weekly smoking cessation support groups.

Schulte earned her master's degree in social work from Saint Louis University.

Schulte's extensive experience in medical social work includes providing direct services on multidisciplinary teams in home care settings as well as at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center. Prior to joining the FTTC team, she coordinated a variety of programs for mothers, children and adolescents for the San Francisco Department of Public Health.
