About me

Danielle Krieger is a nurse practitioner who cares for patients following kidney transplantation. From the day of surgery and for as long as care is needed, she treats their transplant-related medical conditions and helps them with managing immunosuppression and psychological issues.

Krieger believes that education and support are vital to sustaining graft function and overall health. She is the adult nurse practitioner for UCSF Medical Center's pediatric-to-adult transition program.

Krieger earned a master of science degree as an adult nurse practitioner at the Columbia University School of Nursing. She is a member of the American Society of Transplantation, California Association for Nurse Practitioners, International Transplant Nurses Society and Women in Transplantation. She serves on the advisory board of the UCSF Health Alliance Project, which works to support mental health and wellness of LGBTQI and HIV-affected communities.
