James Mailhot


Medical director of CPMC program to help heart patients fully recover

Dr. James Mailhot treats patients at the Cardiovascular Care and Prevention Center – Golden Gate Practice. As a noninvasive cardiologist, he has a breadth of experience in treating cardiac conditions. He also has a special interest in harnessing technology to improve patients' utilization of cardiac rehabilitation programs.

Mailhot earned his medical degree from Georgetown University and trained in internal medicine at Boston Medical Center. He completed his cardiology fellowship at UCSF Medical Center at Mount Zion and Stanford Health Care.

Mailhot is a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He is a member of the American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology.
