Dr. Abla essentially told me that there was no remedy for my condition that UCSF could help me with and seeking an in person consult at UCSF would be useless

    Highly recommended physician

I talked with the provider only a few minutes. I talked with another physician or physician assistant longer before. It was very confusing to speak with 2 people. I've never had that experience before at UCSF. The appointment with the specialist was way to short. Also I was told to get a CT in 6 months but the report says a year. Why?

I traveled from another state in order to receive care here and am so impressed that such a large institution could give such excellent individual care to me. Every person was attentive and caring and my procedures were successful. I am clearly indebted to Dr. Abla and all the surgeons and staff for my recovery.

I interacted very little with Dr. Abla but the fellow who spoke with me before Dr. Abla came on the call was great and answered all of my questions.

As a specialty referral it was pretty much a waste of my time. No mention to any review of my records that I provided.

I THINK DR. ABLA DID A GREAT JOB FOR AN ONLINE VISIT. I RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE A FIRST APPOINTMENT ONLINE. VERY 2 DIMENTIONAL AND STERILE. NO BODY LANGUAGE OR ABILITY TO PAUSE.

I feel very comfortable with this provider's recommendations advice and care.

Overall I didn't feel heard and my.main concerns were addressed. I understand my treatment options are limited but I felt like an afterthought. My symptoms were not important the pain I'm going through wasn't important. My well being didn't feel important. I understand that me refusing to get surgery limits me but its hard to make that decision when I'm told my main symptoms will not be corrected with surgery and basically it has nothing to do with my condition. I'm just confused.

Information is difficult to take in in real time I took notes but its still difficult. A summary was provided in My Chart which helped and provider indicated to call with any questions or concerns.
