Dr. Craig Munroe is a gastroenterologist who cares for patients with a variety of digestive disorders. He has a particular interest in interventional endoscopy, using an endoscope for minimally invasive therapies to manage cancer and other diseases of the digestive tract and surrounding organs.
In research, Munroe studies new ways to deliver specialty care to gastroenterology patients and endoscopic management of digestive tract diseases.
Munroe earned his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School. He completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at Stanford Medicine, followed by a fellowship in interventional endoscopy at the University of California, San Diego.
