About our process

Not much communication. Office said he would talk with me prior to surgery but never did. Had to figure out on my own what lab tests he would want post op. Ordered through my endocrinologist.

If I had not prepared a list of questions before the appointment I don't know If I would have received good directions regarding wound care at home or exercises to help my recovery but since I asked specific questions I was given instructions that I needed

The experience with Dr George has been very good despite the severity of my cancer from what was though to be an straight forward procedure to a very complex 12 hour two surgeons . Dr George was also clear in saying the cancer can be treated and cured. I took that comment to heart and have to believe that is the case

Dr George 's explanation on my cancer was excellent . He listened well never rushed the meeting allowed my questions to be answered allowed a friend to be present and one on the phone and impressively had his text phone on his card to allow any follow questions from me. Also he was frank as to my condition which he believes is curable. I am pleased to have him treat my cancer

At this time the operation has not been scheduled. I received no medications...yet. There was no follow-up care discussed. I am sure this will happen after the surgery.

This provider was a referral through my insurance. I could not have picked a kinder compassionate knowledgeable doctor. He performed surgery on my neck and face for a melanoma. Wonderful doctor I feel blessed and incredibly grateful

honest discussion of risks of radioactive iodine not discussed even though I tried raising the topic. I understand it's considered standard for my case. I understand that the assumption is benefits outweigh the risks. And I would still appreciate a conversation about the risks. There's no way that putting radioactivity in a human being is without risks (not just losing salvia production but longer term health risks)
