Jun Shoji



Dr. Jun Shoji is a nephrologist who specializes in caring for kidney transplant recipients before and after surgery.

In her research, Shoji focuses on conducting clinical trials (studies to evaluate potential new therapies) for innovative immunosuppressive therapies. She also studies recurrent glomerular diseases, conditions that can occur after transplant.

Shoji earned her medical degree at George Washington University School of Medicine, where she completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in nephrology. She completed a fellowship in transplant nephrology at UCSF.
