Dr. Michelle Hines is a pediatrician who provides primary care to children from birth through adolescence. She believes that caring for a child means caring for the child's whole family. She is particularly interested in infant mental health, follow-up care for premature infants, child behavior and development, and adolescent health.
Hines is also interested in advocating for children through helping shape government policies and community activism. Sensitive to the particular challenges faced by communities of color, she works to address racial and ethnic biases and health disparities in medical care.
Hines earned her undergraduate and medical degrees from Stanford University. She completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of California, Davis.
Outside of work, Hines enjoys cooking Korean food and laughing with her husband and son.
