Dr. Pei Chen is a specialist in geriatric medicine who cares for older adults with complex medical conditions and syndromes related to age, such as falls, frailty, delirium and dementia. She is skilled in coordinating care, ensuring that the needs of patients with multiple providers are appropriately met. She has special interests in promoting healthy aging and finding ways to improve geriatric care through initiatives on quality and education.
Chen earned her medical degree from the University of Vermont’s Larner College of Medicine. She completed her residency in primary care internal medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School. She then completed a geriatrics fellowship at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she served as a chief fellow.
