Shagun D. Arora



About me

Dr. Shagun D. Arora is a hematologist-oncologist who specializes in treating patients with both malignant and nonmalignant blood disorders. In addition to caring for patients, one of her passions is clinical education for physicians who are pursuing fellowships in hematology and oncology.

Arora earned her medical degree at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. She completed a residency at McLaren Regional Medical Center, followed by a fellowship at Medstar Washington Hospital Center and Medstar Georgetown University Hospital, where she served as chief fellow.

Arora is a member of several professional associations, including the American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology.
