Tran Bianconi

Dr. Tran Bianconi is an optometrist who provides comprehensive eye exams to patients of all ages. In addition to prescribing glasses and contact lenses, she has a special interest in diagnosing and treating ocular diseases, including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy (damage to the retina's blood vessels caused by diabetes) and cataracts.

Bianconi earned her doctor of optometry degree from the Herbert Wertheim School of Optometry & Vision Science at the University of California, Berkeley. She completed a residency in primary care and ocular disease at the Veterans Affairs New Mexico Healthcare System.

Bianconi enjoys teaching at UC Berkeley's school of optometry, where she is an assistant clinical professor working closely with first- and second-year students. Outside of patient care, she enjoys eating at local bakeries and making pottery in her neighborhood studio.
