I understand that the doctors at UCSF are incredibly busy. That said every time I come in for a visit I feel like one of thousands of patients there is zero personalization in the treatment I don't feel heard and I don't feel like the doctors care to hear my concerns. My questions about the first time pregnancy are often met with a dismissive attitude and sometimes rudeness

Conversation felt awkward. Went to have an overview chat about pregnancy but information was not freely given; I had to ask probing questions. This assumed I knew which questions I needed to ask which was not the case.

Care provider relied on me to ask all the questions; did not proactively ask many questions or bring up topics. Provider acted like I was burdening her when I asked for information she didn't know.

In my experience it felt like if I did not ask questions the doctor would have had nothing to say to me. Descriptions were short and lacked elaboration which as a first time mom left me feeling as if I would need to figure out the rest on my own. Follow up discussed has yet to be seen. The referral promised has not come through. While perfectly nice overall the doctor felt scattered and not completely present.
