I would recommend that he be "cloned" he is just that exceptional. He has a gift for meeting people where they are and he understands how to convey the information the patient needs to know. I walked out of his office with a renewed sense of "well being".

I discovered that there are other cures for my problem from my sister later on.

Dr. Shieh is just excellent in every way. UCSF isn't only lucky to have him. It should be proud to have him. He's just excellent in every way. I couldn't ask for more.

I was seen for a leave of absence extension which went well. However due to the nurse and doctor taking my blood pressure they discovered that my BP was high for the third visit in a row. Dr Shieh took his time explaining all the issues encompassing high blood pressure. He suggested I start on meds and went over all the benefits and possible side effects of the medication and alternative ways to mitigate blood pressure. I was thoughly impressed and incredibly appreciative of my team going over and above to provide care I did not know I needed. Thanks to Dr.Shieh and the whole UCSF team.
